90:19 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا هُمْ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ

But they who disbelieved in Our signs - those are the companions of the left.

90:20 Juz 30 · Page 595

عَلَيْهِمْ نَارٌۭ مُّؤْصَدَةٌۢ

Over them will be fire closed in.

91:1 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَٱلشَّمْسِ وَضُحَىٰهَا

By the sun and its brightness

91:2 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَٱلْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلَىٰهَا

And [by] the moon when it follows it

91:3 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلَّىٰهَا

And [by] the day when it displays it

91:4 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰهَا

And [by] the night when it covers it

91:5 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ وَمَا بَنَىٰهَا

And [by] the sky and He who constructed it

91:6 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا طَحَىٰهَا

And [by] the earth and He who spread it

91:7 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَنَفْسٍۢ وَمَا سَوَّىٰهَا

And [by] the soul and He who proportioned it

91:8 Juz 30 · Page 595

فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَىٰهَا

And inspired it [with discernment of] its wickedness and its righteousness,

91:9 Juz 30 · Page 595

قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّىٰهَا

He has succeeded who purifies it,

91:10 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّىٰهَا

And he has failed who instills it [with corruption].

91:11 Juz 30 · Page 595

كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَىٰهَآ

Thamud denied [their prophet] by reason of their transgression,

91:12 Juz 30 · Page 595

إِذِ ٱنۢبَعَثَ أَشْقَىٰهَا

When the most wretched of them was sent forth.

91:13 Juz 30 · Page 595

فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ نَاقَةَ ٱللَّهِ وَسُقْيَٰهَا

And the messenger of Allah [Salih] said to them, "[Do not harm] the she-camel of Allah or [prevent her from] her drink."

91:14 Juz 30 · Page 595

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنۢبِهِمْ فَسَوَّىٰهَا

But they denied him and hamstrung her. So their Lord brought down upon them destruction for their sin and made it equal [upon all of them].

91:15 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَلَا يَخَافُ عُقْبَٰهَا

And He does not fear the consequence thereof.

92:1 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَىٰ

By the night when it covers

92:2 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ

And [by] the day when it appears

92:3 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلْأُنثَىٰٓ

And [by] He who created the male and female,

92:4 Juz 30 · Page 595

إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّىٰ

Indeed, your efforts are diverse.

92:5 Juz 30 · Page 595

فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ

As for he who gives and fears Allah

92:6 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ

And believes in the best [reward],

92:7 Juz 30 · Page 595

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلْيُسْرَىٰ

We will ease him toward ease.

92:8 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسْتَغْنَىٰ

But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need

92:9 Juz 30 · Page 595

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلْحُسْنَىٰ

And denies the best [reward],
