إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ

Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.

100:7 Juz 30 · Page 600

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ

And indeed, he is to that a witness.

100:8 Juz 30 · Page 600

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.

100:9 Juz 30 · Page 600

أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ

But does he not know that when the contents of the graves are scattered

100:10 Juz 30 · Page 600

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ

And that within the breasts is obtained,

100:11 Juz 30 · Page 600

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ

Indeed, their Lord with them, that Day, is [fully] Acquainted.

101:1 Juz 30 · Page 600

ٱلْقَارِعَةُ

The Striking Calamity -

101:2 Juz 30 · Page 600

مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ

What is the Striking Calamity?

101:3 Juz 30 · Page 600

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلْقَارِعَةُ

And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?

101:4 Juz 30 · Page 600

يَوْمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلْفَرَاشِ ٱلْمَبْثُوثِ

It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,

101:5 Juz 30 · Page 600

وَتَكُونُ ٱلْجِبَالُ كَٱلْعِهْنِ ٱلْمَنفُوشِ

And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.

101:6 Juz 30 · Page 600

فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],

101:7 Juz 30 · Page 600

فَهُوَ فِى عِيشَةٍۢ رَّاضِيَةٍۢ

He will be in a pleasant life.

101:8 Juz 30 · Page 600

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ

But as for one whose scales are light,

101:9 Juz 30 · Page 600

فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٌۭ

His refuge will be an abyss.

101:10 Juz 30 · Page 600

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهْ

And what can make you know what that is?

101:11 Juz 30 · Page 600

نَارٌ حَامِيَةٌۢ

It is a Fire, intensely hot.

102:1 Juz 30 · Page 600

أَلْهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you

102:2 Juz 30 · Page 600

حَتَّىٰ زُرْتُمُ ٱلْمَقَابِرَ

Until you visit the graveyards.

102:3 Juz 30 · Page 600

كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

No! You are going to know.

102:4 Juz 30 · Page 600

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ

Then no! You are going to know.

102:5 Juz 30 · Page 600

كَلَّا لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ عِلْمَ ٱلْيَقِينِ

No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...

102:6 Juz 30 · Page 600

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ

You will surely see the Hellfire.

102:7 Juz 30 · Page 600

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيْنَ ٱلْيَقِينِ

Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.

102:8 Juz 30 · Page 600

ثُمَّ لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.
